Winnipeg Comedy Festival
It's that time of year again when the thaw hits the streets, and everyone starts to shake off their cabin fever. For the past 10 years, that's also meant it's time for the Winnipeg Comedy Festival!

As any expert on misinterpreted Mayan prophecies can tell you, the year 2012 marks the countdown until the end of the world -- a time when the earth shall be devastated by great cosmic catastrophes, and all humanity shall be snuffed out in a giant ball of flames... or something like that. So why not go out with a laugh?

This year's apocalyptic fest features 37 shows and over 70 comedians and special guests, including Alan Thicke, reality star Shannon Tweed, Harland Williams, David Steinberg, Police Academy special-effect man Michael Winslow, and so many more!

You'll also have several chances to see some of your favourite CBC Radio shows recorded live, including The Debaters, This is That, and DNTO! For a full schedule, visit the festival website!
